One thing that bugs me about those Refinery29 and similar articles about ‘amazing woman making it in male fields’ is that they only focus on technology and engineering and managerial fields really, only 'fashionable’ fields. Why not those working in the actual field? Biologists, geologists, zoologists and so many more, do we not lead a glamorous nor fashionable enough for them? I know so many women fighting so hard to make it in a field where we’re told we can’t be because of our physicality and we just don’t get an ounce of recognition for it.
