No offence Mark Ruffalo, but where’s your fucking degree? Where is your environmental science, geology, or chemistry degree or research prowess? Have you even read any of the papers, or discussed the opinions you’re brandishing with the research community? I’m sick and tired of celebrities pretending to know about matters that they have no right to brodcast their opinions about. He has not presented his opinion in an unbiased way. I call bullshit. Stop the mass enslaught of people accepting an opinion as fact just because they earn a shit tonne of money and work in the public eye.
I don’t agree with fracking, but for well reserached reasons. You claim that there is no way the fracking can be safe. I contest this idea. I detest the fact that the US is used as an example, they began fracking in an unregulated, and basically harmful, manner. We can frack safely, if we regulate it. I have heard the discussions from industry about this, because guess what? I’m a fricking geology student. I am a scientist. I know about manufactured uncertainty, and the pure basis of fact. Make an argument that is not stating an opinion. Make an argument that is backed up by the fact that you are an expert on the subject. I am not an expert, but I am not being widely published by main media, my opinion is not being accepted by millions of people.
